We’re all Eyes and Ears at Specsavers

According to the World Health Organisation (2021)*:

  • By 2050 nearly 2.5 billion people are projected to have some degree of hearing loss and at least 700 million (or one in every ten people) will require hearing rehabilitation.
  • Over 1 billion young adults are at risk of permanent, avoidable hearing loss due to unsafe listening practices.

We all know that eyes and ears play a huge role in helping people to experience life’s adventures. Seeing and hearing people, places, and moments make for wonderful and lasting memories.

That’s why Specsavers looks after our customers’ eyes and ears. Our optics team work hand in hand with our audiology team to prioritise the care of our customers. In fact, we prioritise customer care above all else – to ensure the customers’ needs come first. Always!

In New Zealand, our audiology family is growing. In just over a year, we’ve already opened 25 stores and have huge plans for the future. We’re now seeking partners to join us at locations across the country with both metro and regional locations available, and new locations are planned for those wishing to step into their new career down the track.
