Hearing Awareness Week: Specsavers Making an Impact

Published On: 3 March 2022

Since entering the industry in August 2017, Specsavers Audiology’s aim has always been to transform hearing awareness, and this focus drives our determination to put our customers first. As a result, our clinicians provide their customers with the best service, care and experience every time.

On average, it takes 7-10 years to seek out hearing care. To address this delay in people seeing a clinician earlier, we are actively educating our customers and raising hearing awareness and normalising conversations around hearing health.

All optical stores providing audiology services offer customers over the age of 40 a hearing screener. The screener ensures we detect potential hearing loss and treat as many Australians and New Zealanders as possible. As a result, more than 1.9 million Australians and 100,000 New Zealanders have had their hearing screened and started their journey to better hearing awareness with Specsavers.

We’re transforming the industry into a better place for clinicians and customers alike, and we’re doing this by providing clinical excellence, open and transparent pricing, and great products.

As we forge ahead with our customer-centric approach and transparent pricing model, we know that we have already made a significant impact in transforming hearing awareness and improving the lives of millions of Australians and New Zealanders.

If you’re looking to join a company with these shared values and your genuinely passionate about improving your customers lives, let us help you create a career where you can make a real difference.
